We have completed many projects since our start of business in 2001.  Rather than have an exhaustive listing we have highlighted a few of these projects in various market segments. 

 

 

Lennar Homes Corporate Office (Commercial Office)

We have completed numerous tenant improvement projects over the years.  One of these was the Lennar Homes Corporate Office.  The project involved complete demolition and new construction of 13,500 SF of interior space including new lobby, offices, conference rooms and other functions.  This was a very well appointed space and was the center piece of their corporate operations in the Phoenix Metro area. The project was completed in 2005 at a cost of approximately $550,000.00.

 

Emerald Park Apartments (Multi Family)

Early in the morning we received a call from one of our clients and they told us that the central plant at one of their older 156 unit apartment complexes had just blown up and burned down.  All of the central plant building, HVAC equipment and the main electrical service have been destroyed and all tenants have to be relocated.  What occurred from there was a fast track design build process to get the facility back into operation.  During this time it was determined that the Owners preferred option was to convert all of the units to independent AC and also refurbish the entire complex inside and out as well as install a new electrical distribution system for the entire complex.  Both the property manager and building Owner were extremely satisfied with the process and the end results. The project was completed in 2005 at an approximate cost of $1,300,000.00.

   

Metro Arts Institute (Educational)

On this project we worked closely with the building owner, architect and the charter school during the design and budgeting process. We then successfully completed the build out of the 25,000 SF space in time for the school season. 

We were working with a very tight budget and schedule on this project and provided major value engineering (VE) ideas that were incorporated into the project.  Bringing this old building up to code was quite involved and required very close team involvement. This project was one of the earlier ‘charter schools” and has become very successful ongoing operation. This project was completed in 2003 at an approximate cost of $250,000.00, which was within the Owners budget and less than half of what their original design would have cost them prior to VE.

   

Phoenix/Arcadia 6000 SF Home Remodel (Residential – Custom Homes)

We have performed a wide variety of residential work and one of our larger residential projects began with a 6000 SF home originally built in 1928 for the Maytag family.  Working with our client, architect, interior designer and key subcontractors we completed a design, budget and schedule for the project.  What was involved would be a total demo of the building interior, mechanical and electrical systems as well as major exterior structural demolition and rebuilding.  The end result was an outstanding home for our client who restored the character and charm of the original 1928 design while incorporating the latest smart home systems and technology. This project was completed on time and within the original budget established at the beginning.  This project was completed in 2007 at an approximate cost of $2,500,000.00.

   

Shopping Center at 51st Ave and Glendale – (Retail)

This project included an exterior face lift for an older Phoenix retail center and modifications for a new anchor tenant.  We worked closely with the Owner and Architect during design and provided budgeting, scheduling and value engineering services. All of the existing tenants remained in operation during the construction and it was critical to minimize the impact to them, which we did. Coordinating multiple and overlapping phasing was critical to this effort as well as to achieve a very aggressive schedule for the new anchor tenant to move in.  The appearance of this center and its value were greatly improved and had a very positive impact on an entire older neighborhood as well.  Our client was very satisfied with our services and the end result, as we met all of the budget and schedule objectives.  This project was completed in 2009 at an approximate cost of $825,000.00 and we returned a six figure savings to the Owner.

   

Dr. Mirabelli Dental Office (Medical/Dental)

This project is an example of our smaller but specialized services for a husband and wife dental team.  We worked with the client to establishing early design criteria and programming needs as well as proper budget and schedule.  We stayed involved throughout the design and permitting process and then completed the construction as budgeted and scheduled.  This facility represents the first office for this young couple and they were placing their trust in us to make sure everything worked out just as they needed and that is exactly what we did.  This project was completed in 2006 at an approximate cost of $210,000.00

   

Desert Gardens Mini Storage (Self Storage)

On this self storage project we were involved from the initial development discussions through design and construction completion.  During the budgeting phase we were able to provide multiple building type cost analysis in order to design the best building for this particular client and their long term plans. We were once again able to demonstrate our value at all stages of the planning and construction process for or very satisfied repeat client.  The facility consisted of 69,000 SF of air conditioned storage area and a 2800 SF office facility.  The project was completed in 2004 for an approximate cost of $3,000,000.00.  

   
Towers Mountain Industrial Communication

Towers Mountain Communications Building - Industrial – Telecom

This is was a very logistically challenging project. We constructed a 2 story masonry and cast in place concrete building under an existing communications tower. The tower and building are located on top of a 7600 foot mountain top which at times requires 4WD and sometimes is not accessible at all due to weather conditions. The new building houses communications equipment for the Arizona Department of Public Safety and the City of Phoenix. We worked directly for Advanced Communications Inc. and have completed two other projects for them.
